Dolphin Drilling Ltd and its sister company Dolphin a.s. based in Stavanger, Norway represent the drilling contracting business of Fred. Olsen Energy ASA.

Dolphin Drilling Ltd manages a fleet including one ultra deepwater DP drillship, one deepwater moored semi, three conventional water depth semis and one accommodation semi. A further three semis are managed by Dolphin a.s. in Norway.

In recent years, drilling activity has been carried out in most of the major areas of offshore activity including the North Sea, West Africa, Mediterranean, India, Brazil and Gulf of Mexico. Our customer list includes a broad cross section of oil and gas companies including many of the majors, independents and national oil companies.

Dolphin’s present contract portfolio is one of the most robust in the industry ensuring the opportunity for a stable long-term view on industry developments. Our philosophy is one of focussed strategic investment both in terms of upgrading of the existing rig fleet and also based on fleet expansion.
